Reese Witherspoon's new fiance, Jim Toth, didn't spare a thing when it came to picking out the right engagement ring for his bride-to-be.The unique ring is a 4-carat Ashoka cut diamond, reports People.com. The diamond is set on a pave diamond-and-platinum band, giving the ring an elegant, but retro feel (and totally following one of the engagement ring trends we've mentioned before). The Ashoka cut, which has 62 facets, is especially rare, with less than 10% of rough diamonds cut in this shape in each year.
The Oscar-winning actress quietly began dating Jim, 40, last January and the two quickly became serious about one another, reports People.com. Insiders also revealed that Jim had bonded with Reese's kids, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, who she had with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillipe. Reese split from Ryan in 2006 after seven years of marriage.
