Royal Wedding , The Movie

You read that right: even before the wedding has happened, a plan for the royal wedding movie is already in the works, reports People.com.

The Lifetime Network has announced that a made-for-TV movie called "Will & Kate" is currently int he works and will likely air the week before the actual wedding on April 29. The lead role of Prince William goes to newcomer Nico Evers Swindell, while Star Trek's Ben Cross will play Prince Charles. But here's the catch -- the role for Kate Middleton is reportedly still up for grabs!

There are definitely some A-list choices we can think of -- Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes, maybe even Emma Watson or Natalie Portman could pull off the role -- and her accent. (In reality, since William is a newcomer, Kate probably will be too.)

Who do you think should play the role in the Lifetime flick?

Direct from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, comes a real (and lavish!) wedding. Reality star Cynthia Bailey has tied the knot with her beau of 3 1/2 years, Peter Thomas, reports Extra TV.

The bride, 43, wore a custom silver gown created by Rubin Singer and carrying a cascading bouquet of white orchids. The two were married in front of 200 of their friends and family at the Fernback Museum of Natural History. Fellow housewives NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield were all in attendance, but it doesn't look like there was much drama to be had. "It was an incredibly emotional day," Cynthia says. "It was exactly the day I wanted, and we couldn't be happier!" The wedding will air as part of the season finale on Bravo on Jan. 30.

Kate Hudson, Lady Gaga Engaged?

That's what the rumors are: Kate Hudson is engaged (and pregnant) by her boyfriend, rock star Matt Bellamy, according to the U.K.'s Sun, and Lady Gaga may be engaged to her off-again-on-again boyfriend, bartender Luc Carl, according to the U.K.'s Daily Star.

Kate Hudson reportedly hosted a family party in a London hotel on Monday after the two had celebrated in Los Angeles. Matt Bellamy, 32, who is the frontman for the rock group Muse, is also reportedly expecting a child with Kate, 31. Kate and Matt started dating shortly after Matt split from Italian psychologist, Gaia Polloni, in December 2009. The soon-to-be-in-laws reportedly met over Christmas and Matt's parents even stayed with Kate's family, including her stepdad Kurt Russell, in Santa Monica, CA. No word yet on when the wedding will be.

And Lady Gaga is reportedly engaged to 29-year-old NYC bartender Luc Carl. She began dating Luc after meeting him at St. Jerome's, a bar where he was pouring drinks after he failed to make it in a heavy metal band, Omaha. That was before Gaga made it big. Since then, the two have been hot and cold, but over Christmas, apparently, things became more serious. Says one insider, "[Lady Gaga] could have paid for Luc and his family to stay in a five-star hotel at Christmas but thought it was way more romantic to stay with him in the bedroom he had as a little boy. He's the only man she’s truly loved."

Be that as it may, not everyone seems to be excited about their engagement. One inside friend said that while Luc may have been the "only one who has ever stood up to her," he also "didn't respect a single thing she was trying to do musically." The insider went on, "More than that, he would publicly put ehr down and even cheated on her at least once with a girl who was a regular at St Jerome's."

Friends believe they could wait to announce their engagement until right before the release of her new album, "Born This Way," on Feb. 13. Another source also said that the two are in no rush to set a wedding date. And added that Gaga doesn't "even have a proper ring because he couldn't afford one."

Royals Receive Faxed Save-the-Dates, Plus Kate's Dress for Sale

In case you weren't aware, there's a royal wedding happening on April 29. And now there are save-the-dates to prove it. Senior royals and officials from around the world who are invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials have received save-the-dates from Buckingham Palace via fax, reports People.com.

While most couples send their save-the-dates either in the mail, or even via email, I suppose when there's already been an international press conference to announce your wedding date, that a fax will probably suffice.

A spokesperson for King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece confirmed, "I cannot give you any further details other than that but they have received a sort of save the date fax." Their son, Prince Pavlos and his wife, Princess Marie-Chantal, will likely be attendance, along with their son, Konstantinos-Alexios, who is a god-child to William.

Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine of Serbia will also likely be in attendance, since they're already announced via their website that they are "delighted to attend."

And in other news, fashionistas hoping to steal a bit of Kate Middleton's wardrobe will soon have the chance. The gorgeous cream Reiss dress that Kate wore for her engagement portrait (above) is being re-issued by the company and will go on sale in the U.S. and online on Feb. 7, reports Stylelist.com. The dress will be the same style as Kate's, but will be made of silk crepe, a lighter material, to be part of their Spring-Summer collection. The dress will retail for $310 (which is actually a little less than the approx. $329 Kate paid for her version).

Similarly, the sold-out black velvet coat that Kate wore to a wedding recently is also going to be reissued. The high street label, Libelula, who makes the velvet-silk coat, reports that they have been inundated with requests and have seen their website traffic skyrocket "1000 percent," reports Vanity Fair. There's already a wait-list for the £310 coat, but they expect to have it back in stores in March.

Princess Diana's Chef Predicts Wedding Menu

Former royal chef, Darren McGrady, has prepared strawberries and cream for Fergie on her wedding day and Prince William's favorite meals for years, so he's got a pretty good idea of what might be on the royal wedding menu, reports People.com.

So what's his prediction? Similar to what experts have said about other parts of the wedding, Darren expects the menu will be a mix of old an new, tradition with a twist. Immediately following the 11 a.m. ceremony the newlyweds will join the Queen for a celebratory breakfast at Buckingham Palace. During this time, Darren says, they'll have champagne, canapes and heavy h'ors d'oeuvres, like smoked salmon and pate. Darren said he expected the menu would be somewhat simpler than Charles and Diana's wedding meal, "They will want to make it more modern," he tells People.com.

Later on in the evening, Prince Charles is scheduled to host a reception with dining and dancing for the couple. This is when the more substantial meal will take place, says Darren. "They like to showcase British food, so there might be Gaelic steaks with braised rice. But I wouldn't be surprised if cottage pie is somewhere on the menu," says Darren. Cottage pie, Darren notes, which is made with ground beef and topped with mashed potatoes and melted cheese, was "William's all-time favorite."

Jennifer Love Hewitt Has 3 Engagement Rings on Hold at Tiffany's

She may not be engaged just yet, but Jennifer Love Hewitt has already given plenty of thought to her engagement ring.

The star, who has never been married bu broke off her engagement to Ross McCall in early 2008, says she has 3 engagement rings already picked out at Tiffany's, just in case the moment comes up, reports Us magazine. Jennifer explained it all to Ellen DeGeneres on her daytime talk show on Tuesday. "Women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we're not very good at nailing that down for them. I feel like I don't want to be upset if he picks a bad ring," Jennifer said. (Side note: We're gonna go out on a limb here and say it's a little odd to have three engagement rings on hold before you've even had the marriage talk with your beau -- but what's even more upsetting is Jennifer's generalization that women "never know what [they] want.")

Anyway -- Jennifer explains it matter-of-factly, "If marriage comes up, I'm like, 'You know what's so weird. There is this store [Tiffany's] and there are three rings in it... And if you chose one of these three, I'm going to be really excited. And if you go off on your own, we can have an awful, awkward moment. So why would you want to do that?'" Why indeed.

Ellen suggested that it perhaps, could be a nice surprise if her boyfriend came up with a special design and surprised her with a ring, reports USA Today, to which Jennifer quipped, "Yeah, I never thought of it that way. Maybe that should be my growth for the New Year. To let the rings go."

What do you think? Would you put 3 rings on hold just in case?

Kat Von D's Engagement Ring Details

They may not be saying much about their engagement, but Kat Von D isn't afraid to flash her new diamond engagement ring. And what a ring it is!

That tattoo artist, who announced her engagement to Jesse James on Thursday, is reportedly wearing a 4-carat sparkler designer by Neil Lane, reports Us magazine. The ring includes a four-carat center stone, plus other smaller stones around the edge in a delicate filigree pattern with scroll work. The ring is from Neil Lane's archival collection. Other sources are speculating that it's the same ring that Kat has been wearing on her ring finger for about the past four months, even though they only recently announced their engagement.

At the 16th Annual Los Angeles Art Show Opening Night Premiere Thursday night, Kat stayed tight-lipped about the engagement, but was willing to gush about her Jesse. "I feel really lucky," she told Us magazine. "I think in the past I thought I knew what love was. I think I am growing up a lot too and realizing the truth in a lot of things and feel really blessed now."

Jesse James and Kat Von D Engaged

It's a tattoo match made in heaven! Motorcycle king, Jesse James, has announced his engagement to tattoo guru Kat Von D, reports People.com.

Says Jesse, "You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs." Jesse James got divorced from actress Sandra Bullock last year after he was caught having an affair with another tattooed mistress. His divorce from Sandra was finalized last June, and Jesse and Kat Von D apparently have been dating since the summer.

"I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description... Growing old with her is going to be a f****n' blast!" Jesse, 41, tells People. Likewise, Kat, 28, seems to be totally smitten with her new fiance. "There is no one else for me. He's the one," the LA Ink star says to People.

No word yet on when the wedding will be (but we're no-so-secretly hoping matching tattoos and motorcycles are somehow involved).

Wedding Celebrity - Hulk Hogan's Wild Wedding Plus Nicole Richie's Dress

All was not so peaceful and happy at former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan's wedding. The Hulk got married on Tuesday in Florida to his girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniels, and multiple sources have reported that a brawl broke out at the reception.

Allegedly, a paprazzi photographer crashed the Clearwater nuptials and then threatened one of Hulk's friends, saying "I'm carrying a gun," reports TMZ.com. (Why anyone would threaten anyone who's friends with Hulk Hogan is beyond us). After Hulk's friend and the photographer got into a shoving match, guests called the cops, who eventually determined that the gun threat was an empty one. Both parties agreed not to file charges. Hulk, who has been dating Jennifer since early 2008, proposed to her in November of 2009.

And People.com scored the first photo of Nicole Richie in her wedding dress (which they've since pulled from their website. though we know she wore 3 gowns, she's pictured wearing a dress by Marchesa that's based on Grace Kelly's iconic wedding gown. The two tied the knot on December 11 at Lionel Richie's home, in front of their two children Harlow, 4, and Sparrow, 2. Nicole called the nigh "magical," while Joel Madden said it was "the best night of my life."

People.com also has all of the insider details on Carrie Underwood's July 10 fairy tale wedding. the country music star opted for a Chantilly lace and silk organza gown by celeb wedding dress designer Monique Lhuillier, but afterward changed into a strapless Monique cocktail dress.

"The wedding dress was huge," Underwood tells People magazine. "I wanted to get my boogie on, so I had to change."

Celebrity Engagements - Jason Mraz, Lily Allen, Natalie Portman, and LeAnn Rimes

We know it's officially engagement season -- but this year celebs seem to have gone a little overboard! Just check out all the recent engagements that have happened this holiday season.

Jason Mraz has announced his engagement to girlfriend Tristan Prettyman, reports Us magazine. The 33-year-old singer announced his good news via Twitter on Thursday with a simple, "SHE SAID YES." Tristan also followed up with her own Tweet, saying, "man of my dreams!!! for the rest of my life!!!"

Meanwhile British songstress, Lily Allen, has also announced her engagement to builder and decorator Sam Cooper, reports the Daily Mail. Sam, who has been dating Lily since July 2009, proposed while the two were on a recent holiday in Bali. Says one onlooker, "Lily was telling everyone that she and Sam had just got engaged -- they could not keep the smiles off their faces. It couldn't have been more romantic. The resort is just so peaceful and picturesque."And People.com has all the details on LeAnne Rimes gorgeous 5-carat oval diamond ring. The country singer, who split from her husband last year to be with actor Eddie Cibrian, showed off the ring in photos snapped of the two in Malibu on Monday. The ring also includes single cut pave diamonds and tiny rose cut diamonds set in rose gold fleur-de-lis that are connected to the band. Brent Polacheck, the jeweler who designed the ring, and a childhood friend of Eddie's, said that LeAnne didn't have too much involvement. "Le[Ann]'s participation in the design was solely regarding the Fleur de Lis. She had her heart set on having that incorporated in the ring. Other than that, Eddie and I sat down multiple times and worked on the rest of the details," he tells People.com.

And Black Swan star Natalie Portman is engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, her reps confirmed to People.com last week. The 29-year-old actress is also expecting her first child with Benjamin. "I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience," Natalie told Entertainment Weekly in a statement.

Could Kate Middleton Finally be Revealing her Wedding Dress Designer?

Could Kate Middleton finally be revealing her wedding dress designer? It seems so. Kate's mum and sister, Pippa, spent nearly an hour and a half in designer Bruce Oldfield's London shop on Monday, reports the Daily Mail.

Bruce has made elegant, but low-cut gowns for tons of celebrities and dignitaries, including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Queen Rania of Jordan. Bruce apparently greeted Kate's family warmly, hugging and kissing them both, before personally helping them sift through racks of clothing.

Kate, who has barely been seen in public since the engagement announcement, is thought to have asked her family to handle some of the planning. The women didn't emerge with any bags yesterday from Bruce's store, but it is thought they could have asked to have any purchases sent to their home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Royal insiders said last week that Kate had finally made a decision on the dress designer. It is thought that she had whittled it down to two choices: an unknown designer who would be catapulted to fame overnight and someone already accustomed to the limelight, like Bruce. A senior aide yesterday told the Daily Mail, "[Kate] has pretty much reached a final decision. But she wants to keep the creator and design to herself as a surprise for her groom on the wedding day, in line with tradition. She’s very excited."

Prince William's Cousin Zara Phillips Engaged

Prince William could soon be hearing wedding bells -- and this time they won't be his own. Zara Phillips, the cousin to the Prince, has announced her engagement after a sever year romance to rugby player Mike Tindall, reports the Daily Mail.

The couple first fell for each other after meeting in a Sydney bar during the 2003 Rugby World Cup, and have been living together in Gloucestershire for several years. Mike proposed at home on Monday evening with what seems to be about a 2 carat brilliant cut diamond set on a double band of pave diamonds.

Though they haven't officially set a date yet, sources say they will tie the knot next year -- meaning there could be two royal weddings in one year. In a statement released yesterday afternoon, Zara said, "I was really shocked when Mike proposed but I am very happy." Mike added, "I am delighted that Zara has agreed to marry me. We are both very excited about the next stage of our lives together."

Zara, an international event rider, is not a Princess and does not take the title Her Royal Highness because her mother decided she wanted her children to have more normal lives. she is not required to perform royal duties and instead makes her own money and keeps a lower profile overall. Just in case you're having trouble keeping it all straight: Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne, and therefore granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth (which means her maternal uncle is Prince Charles, making William and Harry are her first cousins).

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace released a statement Tuesday, saying, "The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are delighted."

Engagement Ring by Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon's new fiance, Jim Toth, didn't spare a thing when it came to picking out the right engagement ring for his bride-to-be.

The unique ring is a 4-carat Ashoka cut diamond, reports People.com. The diamond is set on a pave diamond-and-platinum band, giving the ring an elegant, but retro feel (and totally following one of the engagement ring trends we've mentioned before). The Ashoka cut, which has 62 facets, is especially rare, with less than 10% of rough diamonds cut in this shape in each year.

The Oscar-winning actress quietly began dating Jim, 40, last January and the two quickly became serious about one another, reports People.com. Insiders also revealed that Jim had bonded with Reese's kids, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, who she had with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillipe. Reese split from Ryan in 2006 after seven years of marriage.

Wedding Details Valerie Bertinelli's

As we reported earlier, Valerie Bertinelli married her longtime boyfriend, Tom Vitale, on New Year's Day in a romantic seaside ceremony at her Malibu home. And now, we've got all the details!

The bride wore blue! That's right, Valerie donned a custom silk chiffon blue gown by David Meister and shoes by Jimmy Choo, reports People.com. She carried a large white bouquet, while the groom donned a more traditional black tux with a white shirt and vest for the ceremony. The magazine also confirms that Eddie Van Halen, plus former co-stars Mackenzie Philips and Pat "Schneider" Harrington were among the guests.

"I could have spent the rest of my life with Tom and not be married, but I wanted to call him 'my husband'," Valerie, 50, who stars in Hot in Cleveland tells People. "I really wanted to share how I feel about Tom with the people I love."

Goes Sale Rack Shopping - Kate Makes Magazine Cover

With all eyes turned to Miss Middleton, it's no wonder why the brunette beauty has landed another magazine cover.

This month, Kate Middleton graces the cover of the U.K.'s Tatler magazine in a clear homage to Andy Warhol. While it sounds like a great idea in theory, we have to admit, this sort of looks like someone spent an afternoon just toying with her photo in Paint, rather than really going for an authentic Warhol look. What do you think of the cover?

In other royal wedding news, Canada has released a statement saying there will not be a commemorative royal wedding stamp released. The Whig Standard reports that they always feature the "reigning monarch" on the stamps. Jim Phillips, director of stamp services, told the newspaper that they rarely deviate from that, noting exceptions in 1947 (for Queen Elizabeth's wedding), 2000 (for the Queen Mother's 100th birthday), and an expected 2012 celebratory stamp to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. (At least someone seems to be un-phased by the wedding...)

And finally, the Telegraph reports that the Queen will indeed have a daughter-in-law after her own heart. Both the Queen and Kate are apparently budget savvy shoppers, as Kate was spotted Tuesday scouring the sales racks at Peter Jones (the Chelsea branch of John Lewis, a U.K.-based department store). Said one employee, "Kate's been a PJ customer for years and she's told us that she'll continue to come here when she's married to William." Way to stay grounded, Kate!

And if you just can't get enough of the royal wedding, you're in luck! TLC will air a special documentary called William, Kate, and 8 Royal Weddings this Sunday at 10 p.m. (Has a familiar ring... right?) With anecdotes from former bridesmaids, interviews with dress designers and historians, and lots of archival footage, the documentary promises to take viewers behind-the-scenes at the last eight royal weddings and give commentary on what we can expect at the latest one.

Go to a Wedding, Kate and Wills

The royal couple was seen out and about over the weekend, attending the wedding of Prince William's close friends, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and Louise Stourton. William acted as an usher for the wedding that took place inside Aldborough Parish Church, reports the Daily Mail.

The reception was held later at Castle Allerton. The two stayed overnight before heading home to celebrate Kate's birthday, Monday. Kate looked dashing in a knee-length black velvet coat with diamante label from the London designer, Libelula, reports the Telegraph. The coat revealed a sheer and plunging neckline of the dress beneath.

And, just in case you can't get enough of the royal wedding, here the Telegraph offers you a tour of the processional route in just 42 seconds (watch it, so fun!).

Wedding Dress Details, Kellie Picker's

Yesterday, we got the official photo from Kellie Pickler's romantic beach elopement and today, we've got all the details about that gorgeous dress she's wearing.

The gown was designed by Badgley Mischka, and it probably comes as no surprise that Kellie wasn't exactly a "bridezilla" to work with, reports People.com.

"I really didn't ask for anything at all," the country star says. "They just took such great care of me and did it all. I just stood there and instantly fell in love with it."

In a statement, designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said, "The classic ballgown silhouette is perfect for her amazing figure." They couldn't be more right -- in fact, that classic A-line look is one of the most universally flattering styles for lots of body types. The gown was made of ivory duchess satin, and featured crystal beaded accents on the train. But the best part? The tulle ballgown skirt could be removed to reveal a mini dress underneath.

"I took the skirt off as soon as the ceremony was over and wore the short dress for the rest of the event," Kellie says.

Wedding Planning with Sara Rue

The Jenny Craig spokesperson, who is engaged to Kevin Price, a teacher, says that "It's going really well all of a sudden." This could be in part because she's hired amazing wedding and event planner, Rachel Hollis from Chic Events to help her out.

She's been engaged since August 2009, but Shedding for the Wedding host Sara Rue is only now getting around to wedding planning, reports People.com.

The host, who's show premieres on Feb. 23, said she's hoping for a wedding that is "eclectic yet elegant" with an "intimate reception. What she doesn't want? Nothing "ostentatious and over-the-top, the star tells People.com.

No word yet on when the actual wedding date will be.

Shania Twain's Official Wedding Photos - Revealed

The marriage is official -- and now there are the photos to prove it. As we reported yesterday, Shania Twain married Frederic Thiebaud on New Year's Day in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Just two photos have been officially released from the wedding and both of them show a gorgeous bride and groom -- both wearing white.

Check out the photos below. What do you think of Shania's dress -- and her super long veil?

More Royal Wedding Details Revealed

Royal wedding planning is well underway, and with just about four months to go until the big day, more details about Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding are starting to emerge.

Confirming rumors, Clarence House said today that the ceremony will include three different clergymen, reports Sky News. The Dean of Westminster will conduct the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the vows, and the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, will give an address, reports Us magazine.

The Palace also confirmed that the ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. (which we had said earlier as well).

A St. James Palace spokesperson said that Kate Middleton will travel to the ceremony by car, which some called an unusual choice, recalling Diana's grand glass carriage that delivered her to her 1981 ceremony. The processional route after the ceremony has also been revealed. Though it is a familiar one, most experts seemed to think this was for national security reasons. After the ceremony, Prince William and Catherine will return to Buckingham Palace in a carriage that passes through Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall, reports Sky News.

Back at the Palace, the Queen will host a private reception for the newlyweds with, "guests drawn from the congregation representing the couple's official and private lives," reports Us magazine. Later on, Prince Charles will host an evening dinner reception with dining -- and dancing! -- the Palace said. The spokesperson also added that more wedding details would be released soon.

Paul McCartney to Perform at Royal Wedding

Next on the guest list for the royal wedding? Sir Paul McCartney. The legendary rocker has reportedly been tapped to perform at the springtime nuptials, reports Spinner.com.

Prince William reportedly approached the former Beatle and asked him to perform at the wedding reception. Sir Paul was asked to perform several songs, none of which have been disclosed yet.

In related news, Metro reports that the band Kings of Leon would also be thrilled to perform at the royal wedding. The drummer, Nathan Followill, recently told the U.K.'s Sun that while he likes "Wills and Kate," he favored Prince Harry.

"Wills and Kate look like nice people. But Harry is the dude. His is the wedding we would most likely play," Nathan Followill says. The band had the chance to meet Prince Harry while they were backstage for a concert at London's O2 arena.

Kellie Pickler's Official Wedding Photo

As we reported earlier, country singer-songwriter Kellie Pickler, opted earlier this month to skip the big wedding and just elope instead!

And now, she's released her official wedding photo, reports People.com. Kellie tells People that while they were in the midst of planning their wedding, they realized it just wasn't turning out right.

"When two people get married, it's not about the glamour," Pickler, 24, tells PEOPLE. "It's about the bride and groom and God."

So, the two opted for a much more toned down affair, in Antigua, where they held a sunset beach wedding with just the two of them and their minister.

You tell us, have you considered eloping because wedding planning is too much? Weigh in below! And, stop the stress now! Get out 10 easy planning tips.

Hair and Makeup Dream Wedding Bride

The wedding is getting closer and closer -- and now all of the planning is finally coming together! (Just in case you haven't been tuning in, I'm the lucky bride who won a $100,000 dream wedding from WeddingChannel.com and Us Weekly).

So this week was all about my hair and makeup. I was in NYC once again for a shoot with Us Weekly and had the chance to try out two completely different styles. The first style I got to try was a sexy half-up, half-down do, while the second style was a romantic side updo.

Celeb stylist, Paul Labrecque (aka - Renee Zellweger's hair guru!), did both of the looks -- and I really think both look great! Remember, I'm using Jessica Simpson's wedding to Nick Lachey as my inspiration -- so I wanted both looks to be soft and elegant. I do think the half-up half-down look is a little more my style -- but what do you think? Check out the photos below and vote for your favorite look! Plus, catch a video of my hair and makeup trial here on Us Weekly and vote on their poll, too.

"Bridalplasty" Combines Plastic Surgery and Dream Wedding Competition

So we've been hearing lots about this show and decided it was finally time to do a blog post. While we try to stay pretty impartial to all types of weddings -- and desires for those weddings -- this one is a little bit harder.

"Bridalplasty," a new show set to premiere on E!, will pit brides-to-be against one another in various wedding related competitions where the prize is extreme plastic surgery. One by one the brides will be voted off by their competitors and, according to the show's description, "possibly [walk] away with nothing and [lose their] chance to be the perfect bride," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Hollywood plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow (from Fox's "The Swan") will lend his expert advice to the show and celebrity bride Shanna Moakler (who's wedding to Blink 182's Travis Barker was filmed for TV, though the two have since divorced) will host.

The winner gets her "dream wedding" and "viewers will witness his emotional and possibly shocked reaction as they stand at the altar and [the groom] lifts her veil to see her for the first time following her extreme plastic surgery," says E! according to the Huffington Post. It's the first show where people will actually have to compete for plastic surgery (whereas other reality shows have simply followed people as they had plastic surgery).

Doctors and specialists from around the country are already denouncing the show and questioning the ethical implications it could have. But we want to hear from you -- sure it's easy to bash a show like this, but could you ever see yourself competing? Or can you think of any friends who would want something like this? Weigh in below!

Perfect 10 Weddings in Bermuda

You know as much as I love NY, when I had the chance to head to Bermuda to see 10 incredible destination weddings this weekend, for 10/10/10, I jumped at the chance.

In case you missed the contest, The Knot partnered with Bermuda to bring 10 lucky couples the destination wedding of a lifetime. Each of the couples gets a totally personalized ceremony at a fabulous hotel on the island -- plus they each got to bring along 8 friends for free (thanks to JetBlue!).

So far, the weekend couldn't be better. The weather is gorgeous and while the couples are gearing up for their big day tomorrow (more on that later!), I've had an incredible time relaxing and seeing some of what Bermuda has to offer. I've been staying at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess hotel (above right photo), which is right at the heart of the harbor on the island. Aside from exploring a beautiful beach today (Elbow Beach, above left photo) I also got to enjoy a perfectly traditional English tea this afternoon (Bermuda is still a British colony -- so afternoon tea here is pretty authentic). The Earl Grey tea was delicious, but so were all the mini sandwiches, treats and even savory shooters served along with it.

Now there's a little bit of time until dinner -- and then it's all about preparing for tomorrow -- 10/10/10. I can't wait to see the 10 amazing weddings that will be happening throughout the day. Stay tuned, I'll be posting more about this wedding weekend in Bermuda later.

Princess Diana Knockoff Ring, QVC Debuts

The knockoffs have arrived! If you love Kate Middleton's stunning 18-carat sapphire engagement ring but can't quite get over the royal price tag, you're in luck. The frenzy surrounding the engagement has already led QVC to design a cost-friendly knockoff for just $39.54, reports WWD.

The lookalike ring on QVC, which won't be shipping until 12/20, was designed by Kenneth Jay Lane. But it doesn't end there. Lookalike rings have also popped up on Amazon.com (for about $60) and on websites like Emitations.com (also about $60). Perhaps not surprisingly, most of the websites are currently sold out.

Kate's sapphire ring, which was originally used for Princess Diana's engagement in 1981, cost about $45,000 at the time, but is estimated at $110,000 today with inflation adjustments. What do you think? Would you want a sapphire engagement ring like Kate's?

The Drinks Dream Wedding Bride

Not only did guests dine on some of the finest cuisine from The Catered Affair, but the Us Weekly and WeddingChannel.com dream wedding guests also sipped and toasted with some incredible cocktails.

Guests had signature cocktails mixed with Nuvo Sparkling Liquer, which is a blend of French vodka and sparkling white wine with an infusion of passion fruit nectar (above left photo). But the special drinks didn't end there. Guests also toasted the newlyweds with Banfi's Rosa Regale, an Italian rose sparkling wine. Both of the drinks added to the overall glamorous (and pink!) wedding, Pamela and Joshua wanted.

Taylor Swift Wedding Dress

Just kidding! OK, so Taylor Swift isn't really getting married. The photo above is a sneak peak from her new music video, "Mine," and she does indeed tie the knot with hottie Toby Hemingway in the video.

Taylor dons a Grecian-inspired gown by Reem Acra, reports JustJared.com, in one scene and in another scene is depicted at a child's birthday. We couldn't find the exact dress that Taylor's wearing in the video, but found two by Reem Acra that look similar. What do you think of Taylor's (faux) wedding day look? And what about Toby's?

The video premieres on Friday, August 27 and we can't wait to see how this wedding turns out.

Vera and David Partner Up in Affordable Wedding Gowns

Attention brides! If you've always wanted the look for less when it comes to your wedding gown -- now may be the time. Celebrity gown designer Vera Wang is partnering with David's Bridal to create a line of affordable wedding gowns. The line will include nothing over $1,500 and include gowns and accessories. The 20 gown line should be available in the US by early Spring 2011, reports InStyle.

Vera told WWD she's excited about the project, adding, "I've been doing this for 20 years in September…what is the point if I can't share all this work [via] a brand that is reliable and credible to people."

No word yet on what the line will look like -- and to be honest, we're pretty curious. What do you think the line will look like? And tell us, would you buy a Vera Wang for David's Bridal gown?
